Clydebank family firm, Campbell & Kennedy, has grown immensely since starting as a small business over 60 years ago and now operates within four divisions and offices across the UK. The business has achieved rapid growth through its expansion into other avenues including green energy, fire safety and technology solutions & installations.
Campbell & Kennedy has worked closely with local support agencies to ensure it grows and develops the workforce necessary to deliver a high quality and responsive service to its customers. As part of the Scottish Government's programme for Registered Digital Installers and the digital switchover, over 40 Campbell and Kennedy's installers received training from West College Scotland as part of the NVQ in Electrical and Electronic Servicing.
The company's growth ambitions have been supported at local level by Business Gateway and West Dunbartonshire Council through financial assistance for workforce expansion.
Speaking of the overall support Campbell and Kennedy has received, Den Cooke, Managed Services Manager, said "I have found the service and support to be second to none and has proven an invaluable resource in our future planning strategies".
